Traveling within the Mercosur region?
If so, you will likely need the “Carta Verde”, mandatory insurance for international trips with vehicles registered in Mercosur countries, excluding the car rental country.
Tips on car pick-up time:
Allow extra time: To avoid unforeseen issues, we recommend scheduling your car pick-up at least 2 hours after your flight’s arrival time. This way, you will have enough time to go through immigration, collect your luggage, and handle any possible delays.
Arrived late? Most rental companies offer a grace period of up to 29 minutes. However, note that this time does not apply during the last hour of the store’s opening. Therefore, it’s very important to check the exact times on your voucher, especially for international bookings, which may have specific rules.
