What is Cashback?
Cashback is part of Rentcars' rewards program, which gives back a portion of the amount paid for your reservation as credits. Once you complete and use your reservation, a percentage of the payment is added to your Digital Wallet, which you can apply to future bookings.
When will I receive my Cashback?
The Cashback credit is added after the confirmation that the reservation was used. This process is carried out automatically by the car rental companies.
Initially, the credit will appear as "pending" in your Digital Wallet statement, indicating it is waiting for the rental completion and confirmation by the car rental provider.
Confirmation times vary:
For Brazil: 45 to 120 days
For other countries: 120 to 240 days
After confirmation, the Cashback becomes available in your Digital Wallet for future reservations.
How to Use My Cashback?
Once available, you can apply Cashback during the payment stage, visible above the discount coupon field.
If the total reservation amount exceeds your Cashback, you’ll pay the difference.
If the reservation costs less, the remaining Cashback will stay in your Digital Wallet.
Remember: Cashback can only be applied to pre-paid reservations (advance payment option) and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional codes.
What is the Validity of My Cashback?
Your Cashback expires 12 months (1 year) after it becomes available.
To view or use it:
Log in to your account.
Visit the “My Wallet” or “RentRewards” section.
Why Couldn’t I Use My Cashback?
If you encounter issues using your Cashback, check the following:
Not all rental companies accept Cashback.
Cashback expires 12 months after being credited.
Promotions and discounts are not stackable; if using a coupon, Cashback cannot be applied.
Reservations made via partner sites with exclusive discounts do not qualify for Cashback.
Important!
Cashback credits are promotional and:
Cannot be transferred to others.
Cannot be converted into cash or digital currencies.
Cashback is not generated if a discount coupon is used.
