How to change my first and last name on the Rentcars website

Quick guide to updating your registration information.

On the Rentcars website, you can update your account registration details, including your first and last name, for new reservations only.

If you already have a reservation that has been issued and confirmed and you have noticed an error in the first or last name (for example, an incorrect letter or a symbol instead of a letter), it is not possible to correct the existing reservation. In this case, you will need to make a new reservation with the correct details, respecting the cancellation policies of the current reservation.

How do I change my first and last name?

It's simple! Just follow these steps:

  1. Access the Rentcars website on your computer or mobile browser.

  2. Log into your account.

  3. Click on "My Account" and then on "Change data".

  4. Make the necessary changes to your first and last name and other personal details.

  5. Click “Save” to complete the update.

Important: the update of first and last name can only be done through the website. This option is not yet available in the app (Android and iOS).

Will the reservations I have already made be changed with the new information?

The reservations you have already issued remain exactly as they were made, without changes. But don't worry: from the moment you update your first and last name in your account, all new reservations will be issued with the corrected information.

Is it possible to change the name of the reservation holder?

No, it is not possible to change the name of the reservation holder/main driver after issuance or confirmation. If you need to correct this information, the only solution is to cancel the current reservation and make a new one with the correct details.
